Ok, so i've been out of action sick for the last few days so i have a bit of catching up to do!
On Tuesday i put up the option between Innoxa's Pore Vanishing Cream and Australis' Go Long Longwear Lipstick. Australis received the most votes, so here's the review!
I bought this lipstick quite awhile ago when it was on sale at Kmart, once i got to the store there was only a small amount left so i ended up going with the shade 'Trendy'.
This is a super bright matte pink shade, similar to Mac Cosmetics 'Candy Yum-Yum' but more on the lighter side.
I do enjoy this lipstick! It definitely lives up to the 'Go Long' name. The formula of this lipstick is like no other i have tried, if you don't like matte lipsticks because of the dry factor then i would say you probably wont love this. It is dry and drags on application, personally this doesn't bother me and is more of a reassurement that the product is going to last. This lipstick last's through talking, drinking, kissing and eating. This would have to be the most longwearing lipstick out of my collection and im definitely impressed! I've found it to not transfer anywhere near as bad as other lippies that i own which is another big thumbs up.
As for packaging and smell, well, it's quite cheap. In saying that the packaging is sturdy and the lid stays on well, so you can throw it in your bag and you'll be good to go.
The smell is quite distinct but i can't really describe, kind of fruity, i guess.
I think that's all i have to say about this Go Long Longwear Lipstick, i give this product a 6.5/10 and for the price i would recommend to give it a go! You can purchase this
at Priceline for $12.95 but are regularly on sale.
