Hello my lahs!
It's just been one thing after another lately! Fresh after recovering from my spate of Bloggeritis, I now found myself bogged down with a nasty cold! I'm talking headaches, shivers, sneezing, coughing and a distinct huskiness to my voice. Tell me, are there any more symptoms I need to look out for? Ugh!
Well, all this nasty cold business took my plans for the weekend, scrunched them up into a little ball and threw them in to the bin. See, colds are bad, they're not even environmentally friendly enough to recycle paper. Anyway, I still feel like a shell of my usual healthy self and I actually think it's affected my sanity, causing me to do my very best Sugar Brown impersonation at least 30 times a day. When I say 'very best', read 'very worst'!
I'm desperate to recover in time for Friday. For Valentine's Day? No, I've never liked the idea of Valentine's day. Call me a killjoy if you like, but for me it's another one of those 'celebrations' that encourage people to be nice to someone specific for one day and c*nts every other day. Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day: why can't we just be nice to people all year round? Besides, Valentine's day also promotes the killing of innocent, helpless flowers to be given as 'gifts' that will then rot away in whatever vase they're hastily stuffed in to. Modern love baby.
No, on Friday it just so happens I'm heading down to London Fashion Week! I'd never even been to London until 2012 (I think, maybe 2011?) when I took a trip down to meet some lovely bloggers, but now I seem to be down there every other month. Any excuse, and I'm there!
As for LFW itself, I'll be heading over to some shows on the Saturday and I'm considering wearing this skirt. I saw it in River Island and was immediately taken by it, not realising the slit going three quarters up the leg. But oh my, the slit..
Seriously though, this is the first time I've ever had a skirt with a slit and I feel like Jessica Rabbit when I wear it, she's so glamour and wow I'd so go girl for her...
