April Favourites

WOW I can't believe April has been and gone. Now I have to wait another 12 months for my birthday, hahaha! I was pretty busy with uni assessments in April so I didn't get many opportunities to wear a lot of make-up. Here is what I was reaching for constantly throughout April:

  • Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm
  • Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Energy-boosting moisturiser with Mangosteen (is that a long name or what?!)
  • Benefit So Hooked on Carmella perfume
  • L'oreal Paris Nude Magique BB cream (medium skin tone)
  • Mario Badescu Buttermilk Moisturiser
Okay now lets start with the nivea essential care lip balm, I recently finished a tube of baby lips which I grabbed when they were first released as everybody was dancing around saying how good they were. I wrote mediocre reviews on them but didn't think it was a holy grail balm. I had used an assortment of nivea balms before and as soon as my babylips was all used up I opened this tube of "essential care" I had sitting in  my draw. And boy, am I loving it or what!!!! The balmy feeling stays on my lips at least twice as long as it did with the babylips and my lips are feeling great.

I have had this tube of  Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Energy-boosting moisturiser with Mangosteen for two years and it's nearly empty. I probably only have one or two applications left :( Definitely considering repurchasing this!!!!!! It's a tinted moisturiser with SPF 15 and I only have good things to say about it.

For my birthday I brought myself a bottle of "So Hooked on Carmella" from Benefit. I'm in heaven every time I spray this. It lasts and lasts and smells delicious. Review coming soon.

When priceline had their 40% off sale I grabbed this L'oreal bb cream and have been wearing it a lot. Whilst I haven't worn it long enough to form a complete opinion of it my initial thoughts are promising. It definitely blurs my enormous pores, yippee !

Finally, a product I have re-purchased for over five years and it's empty! The Buttermilk moisturiser by Mario Badescu I've lost count of how many bottles of this stuff I have used. A bottle lasts around 9 months and works a treat. Sinks in quickly and I don't think I need to say much more because why would I re-purchase it numerous times if it didn't work? You can buy this from kit cosmetics .

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend! :)
