The Body Shop at LFW '13

I've been lucky enough on previous years to be invited along to London Fashion Week and even been able to step backstage and witness the makeup and mayhem that goes on behind the scenes, before the catwalk show unfurls. The Body Shop this year were present at Vauxhall Fashion Scout creating an array of different makeup looks from smokey eyes, pastel lids to fresh, radiant skin and contoured cheeks - all captured on their short youtube videos presented by Lan Nguyen-Grealis, head makeup artist for The Body Shop.



The 5 minute smokey eye tutorial is quick, simple and definitely something that anybody could recreate when time is precious but you are yearning for a dramatic eye look. Lan first set the lid with the Extra Virgin Compact Foundation which makes sure the dark colour doesn't stray. After heavily lining the the upper and lower lash lines with The Body Shop's Carbon Eye Definer, Lan packed on Colour Crush eyeshadow in black and softened the edges with a fluffy brush, before cleaning up any fall out with a foundation brush.



The second 'Get the Look Makeup tutorial' is something a lot fresher and more colourful featuring The Body Shop's all-in-one BB cream which transforms from a white cream to a perfectly-matched formula when applied onto your skin. The eyes were treated to another Colour Crush shade, this time in a spring-like lavender hue, before being finished with the Super Volume mascara. The look was completed with a sweep of blusher and a Colourglide Lip Colour on the lips.
